Honky-Tonk Jump plays swingin’ Texas dance hall music in the tradition of Bob Wills, Milton Brown, Ernest Tubb and Spade Cooley with a sprinkling of Hank Williams and other early honky-tonk legends. This band rustles up a rhythm roundup with accordion, twin fiddles, guitar, pedal steel, mandolin, bass, drums and vocals. Their music features signature twin and triple leads on accordion, fiddle, pedal steel and guitar with soulful vocals, all backed by a hard-swingin’ rhythm section. This band has fun and it’s contagious!

Honky-Tonk Jump: Jazz with a Cowboy Hat – the Texas Swing Music of Bob Wills
Honky-Tonk Jump plays tribute to Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys and other great Lone Star State swing bands. Whether you call it Western swing, Hillbilly Jazz, or Gulf Coast Boogie, this music just swings. Honky-Tonk Jump keeps the boots tappin’ with Wills classics like San Antonio Rose, Benny Goodman take-offs like Mission to Moscow and throws in a little Hank Williams to keep the honky tonk alive. It’s blues, jazz and swing topped with a ten-gallon Stetson!
